Ben recently graduated from Virginia Tech in 2016 with a degree in Materials Science and Engineering. After being actively involved with Cru throughout his time at Tech and wrestling through different vocational opportunities his junior and senior years, God made it clear that he was being called into ministry for the year after he graduated. He’s an avid football fan (both college and pro), enjoys reading a good book, and would do almost anything for an Anita’s breakfast burrito.
Lauren graduated from Virginia Tech in May of 2017 with a degree in Psychology and a concentration on early childhood trauma. Although actively involved in Cru throughout her time as an undergrad, Lauren never anticipated that God would call her into full time missionary work. It wasn't until senior year, after applying to graduate school, that God challenged her to surrender control and trust in Him for provision...and the rest is history! Lauren loves Philadelphia sports, chocolate milk, exploring the Blue Ridge Mountains, and Virginia Tech Cru!
Carol graduated from Virginia Tech in Spring of 2017 with a degree in Human Development and a minor in Psychology. After leading in the ministry of Cru during her sophomore and junior year, she felt the Lord calling her to take a year to do full-time ministry with Cru after graduation. Carol loves hiking, painting, munching on chocolate covered almonds and is a bouncy ball enthusiast!
"Micah is the son of two full-time missionaries currently serving in Peru, and is from upstate New York. His passion for design brought him to Virginia Tech to study architecture, and his love for Jesus has led him to serve in full-time ministry with Cru. He also loves soccer, playing drums, designing things, and making people laugh."
